Freezer Chocolate

Any chocolate fans out there? Here’s a go-to if you want to eliminate the sugar and milk products that normal chocolate bars contain. If you why should we steer clear of milk and sugar?

Sugar is not only addicting, but can be problematic for people who are insulin resistant or have an overgrowth of yeast known as, Candida. Candida feeds on sugar! No, thank you!

As for milk , milk is not tolerated by many people due to the casein which causes an inflammatory response in the body.

So I encourage you to make this quick and easy dessert without deprivation!


  • 3 bars – Guittard Unsweetened Chocolate (100% Cacao) 
  • 3 spoonfuls virgin coconut oil 
  • 2-3 scoops of Stevia (I love Naturamericas brand ) or stevia drops of your choice
  • Optional add Himalayan salt, dried cranberries or cherries, nuts, or anything else you like in your chocolate


Combine chocolate and coconut oil in saucepan on stove, and gently warm until chocolate is easily stir-able and the coconut oil is liquid. Stir in the sweetener if desired, then spoon into a glass container or ice tray molds. Add optional ingredients if you choose to. Freeze until solid, and store leftovers in the freezer. Enjoy!
